Yet with that said, I still think I really enjoyed this movie on its own. It tells the story of this mega rich tycoon who dies and leaves behind a complicated legacy. I think they do an awesome job of balancing his story, making his development and downfall make sense, and having the audience dislike yet understand him by the end. Just two guys trying to survive alone on the ice! Really makes you appreciate spring. This wasn't a spectacular or particularly memorable story, but when something is a true story you can't really complain about it not being flashy enough. And I'm a sucker for survival stories, especially true ones. I too would lose my mind if I had to live in a little hut in Northern Greenland for 2 years!

After 15 minutes you truly know EVERY single story beat that will happen. Why did this movie have to be made? He tries to mimic that here and just doesn’t land as well. The music isn’t bad, but there are a few cringe songs and lyrics that make me like it less. I just never find myself coming back to this album, even after a decent amount of listens. I think he’s somewhat self aware? But that also makes him a bit insufferable if I’m being honest. He wants to be woke and know what the people say about him but it isn’t done well. His collabs with Lil Wayne were a pleasant surprise, and his best songs are with other collaborators. Ay! Make Up Sex, and Maybe are my favourite tracks.

This is one of the most creative books I’ve ever read (Read Hoodie Logi’s review for a synopsis). The fantasy is incredible and she mixes in important issues like race and environmental issues. The story lines were all great and I was never sad to be reading a specific character. The climax was unreal but they left quite a few questions unanswered with still a lot of intrigue. I can’t wait to continue on in this series!

Everything is SO SLOW in this game. Leveling is slow, walking is slow, battle animations take forever, you never learn any good moves so battles are a grind. It's quite short and is written more like a collection of essays, looking at his life from different angles. There's a chapter about colorism, religion, abuse, and of course how he came to host Queer Eye. The story I was most interested in was how he found out he had a 10-year-old kid when he was 25, and eventually got full custody of him and his son's half brother. It's a wild story. Karamo has had a tumultuous life, and it was super interesting to see how he got through all of that to become the kind, empathetic, capable social worker we see on the screen. There were definitely times when I thought it was TOO weird and could have dialed it back a little and kept the same effect, but I did laugh A LOT and also found the ending really moving. Weird! Anyways, this is a time loop movie with Andy Sandberg, and it really should have just been called Groundhog Day 2 because they are so similar as romantic comedies with some really dark humor. This one has a couple unique twists, but again it's more sequel twists rather than original IP twists. With that said, I really loved this movie and thought it was hilarious. It's definitely a little raunchier at times which I don't love, but I love that these movies make you think pretty philosophically while also running off jokes that are completely wild and wouldn't work in any other kind of movie. Totally recommend, just know that there are a few viewer discretion moments.
