Along with Half Blood Prince, I think this one just nails the atmosphere, nails the emotional moments, and nails the conclusion. Does it all make perfect sense? Definitely not, but when Harry was talking to his family about what it's like to die, I felt tears welling up and forgot all about the holes. This movie is just an epic and gripping conclusion to one of the best stories ever told. I am just going to pretend that horrendous final scene doesn't exist.

⭐ 7.5/10 (Originally written by Joseph) I have to skip my Half Blood Prince review because I fell asleep during it, which sucks because I love that movie and wanted to comment on how much I love scenes and think the decision to kill of Dumbledore was amazing. For the record, a 9/10 for me I think. This movie is kinda just okay for me. I love the atmosphere and the kids going it alone, but most of the best scenes happen in the latter half of the book, so those get cut off. Also, as the books become more mature, the plot holes and incomprehensible magic system start to stand out whereas the early books/movies it just didn't matter.

This is followed by the best scene, which is a brief cameo by the best character, Vernon Dursley, who like me loves Sundays because you don't get mail. The movie unfortunately takes a turn for the worse for the next 2.5 hours with only one good 30 second fight scene between the third best character (Dumbledore) and Voldemort, who is actually a pretty good villain in a movie full of terrible, terrible villains. Sorry folks, but that pink lady being annoying doesn't make her a good villain . It just makes her annoying.

The action isn't quite as impressive as a lot of his Chinese movies, but it's still awesome and makes up the difference by being legitimately funny with Owen Wilson being a lot better than I remembered. It also intersected with my current love of Westerns, so this really was the perfect movie for me right now.

The first couple episodes are actually pretty solid, better than I remember, but the back half of the shortened season is pretty weak, attempting to play off previous plotlines and not really pulling off the new ideas. Still enjoyed it, just not at the high bar it is usually at. A glaring weak spot is a forced relationship between 2 of the gang. It's is just totally unbelievable, and they spend all season barely even acting like a couple. A strange decision that doesn't have any pay off and does not seem at all compatible given what we have seen from them so far. So a let down of a season, but still some laughs and memorable episodes. Shows the importance a showrunner can have, one cohesive vision.

I had HIGH expectations going into this one, and she actually EXCEEDED them. In this show, she shares hysterical anecdotes as she realizes and comes to terms with the fact that she's autistic. At first I was a little put off by how much of a mess she is, but then I ended up appreciating how honest she is, and that she was admitting to doing and thinking so many embarrassing things that I also think/do. She talks a lot about her terrible love life, and also diarrhea, but that's part of her chronic illness and so very relevant for her. She also grew up extremely poor and still is pretty poor because she doesn't like working (relateable), and her stories of the struggle just got me. My review is probably slightly biased by the movie, but the author wrote the screenplay as well and the two really are the same piece. Jk, it's a Jackie Chan movie and I watched it cuz I love watching Jackie kick ass. This was one of his earliest movies, and by many considered his best. I'll admit, the plot and didn't really do it for me, mostly because I could hardly tell any characters apart and couldn't differentiate their names, so when it was revealed that certain characters were double agents, I was mostly just trying to remember who was on what side in the first place. The comedy aspect also didn't really do it as there were some very dated jokes, and most of the funny scenes had nothing to do with the plot. It was basically like 15 minute comedy intermissions.
