Community (Season 4)

⭐ 7.0/10

The creator and head writer of the show was fired for this season, and it shows. The first couple episodes are actually pretty solid, better than I remember, but the back half of the shortened season is pretty weak, attempting to play off previous plotlines and not really pulling off the new ideas. Still enjoyed it, just not at the high bar it is usually at.

A glaring weak spot is a forced relationship between 2 of the gang. It's is just totally unbelievable, and they spend all season barely even acting like a couple. A strange decision that doesn't have any pay off and does not seem at all compatible given what we have seen from them so far.

So a let down of a season, but still some laughs and memorable episodes. Shows the importance a showrunner can have, one cohesive vision.
