⭐7.5/10
That aside, this movie is pretty good. There's some family reclamation stuff, some stuff about living for what matters, doing what you love, all that. But the main thing is the food looks incredible and I'm a known lover of cooking videos. This was a long version of those.
I had a few little nitpicks, like the tone being weird (it has some dark humour, but also has a fairytale ending) and this also made 2014 feel like decades ago. But whatever. This is a good movie, and probably one everyone would like. It's quite similar to the Bear, where everyone is an asshole, but there are moments of tenderness. The Bear is a little edgier, both funnier and more poignant, but if you like that, you'll probably like this.
