Abbott Elementary (Season 2)

⭐ 8.0/10

It took me a bit to get into this season, but once I did I couldn’t stop watching. It’s just genuinely good tv. No high stakes, no stress. It’s funny and endearing and comforting.

You learn to love this whole cast while still rooting for the main character Janine played by Quinta Brunson who I think is hilarious and a genius.

A few very minor complaints about this show are that I feel like they always try to teach a lesson in each episode. And that’s normally a good thing for me but it happens so often. And also, outside of the main cast everyone is a bad actor, especially the kids.

This season has some great guest appearances and some returns of last seasons characters. I will watch this show as long as it keeps making seasons!
