Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries - Heather Fawcett

⭐ 9.0/10

(Originally written by Magdalene)

This book is so charming - a cozy fantasy with just a hint of darkness. Emily is an awkward scholar who studies faerie, and she travels to a northern country to try to find more, and is joined by her frenemy colleague Wendell. As she gets to know the Hidden Folk of the area, she also gets to know the villagers and discovers some of Wendell's secrets. Great characters, great atmosphere, and just a fun read.
