Extraordinary Attorney Woo

⭐ 8.0/10

I'm about a year behind the hype around this k-drama, but after seeing some TikToks about it, I finally decided to watch it.

It's about an autistic woman who becomes the first autistic attorney in Korea. It's a case-per-episode style in general, but of course you also see her grow, gain confidence at work, make friends, and fall in love. And because it's a k-drama, of course there are birth secrets.

I can see why it was so popular. YoungWoo is really lovable and charming, and you can't help but root for her. The romance is incredibly wholesome and sweet as well. There is lots of content out there about the autism representation that I don't need to rehash, but essentially it's not great but not terrible. And heaps better than Korea has done in the past, so at least it's getting better and starting to exist.
