30 Rock (Season 1)

⭐ 7.0/10

This is a comedy filled with people I like, basically a spoof on the people who make another show I like in SNL. Like most network sitcoms this takes a while to heat up, with many of the characters being annoying and the dynamics feeling a bit off. Tina Fey is a solid lead though, and at least once an episode I would laugh out loud at a clever one-liner. By the end of the season I was more excited to watch episodes, and I am looking forward to future seasons.

I would say this show is closer to Community, an all-time favourite of mine, than The Office or Modern Family, and it is refreshing to watch a funny show that isn't build around the mockumentary format.
