Several People are Typing - Calvin Kasulke

Gerald accidentally uploads his consciousness into his company's Slack channel and doesn't know how to get out, plus nobody believes him. The book is told entirely through Slack messages, as Gerald and his coworkers deal with clients and in-office drama. The concept is absolutely bonkers, and I have no idea if the tech elements make sense, and I don't think the author cared if they did. I found the book hilarious, and even though I've never actually worked in an office, I imagine it's accurate. It has something of a Dilbert feel as it shines a light on the nonsensical aspects of office life, plus that ridiculous sci-fi plot added.

This book would not be for everyone, and I imagine a lot of people would think it was just really dumb, but I laughed out loud almost every page, and it was refreshing to read something so unique and weird.
