Jungle Book (1967)

⭐ 8.0/10

Had a kids movie double feature this weekend, and this one started it off. Pretty good! It has been a looooong time since I'd seen this and remembered very little. But it has all the staples with funny banter, great songs and a nice ending. Few highlights:

-Baloo really was made for the millenial audience and Bare Necessities is a classic.

-the military elephants were pretty funny, totally forgot about them

-the gross vultures being wholesome and nice!? For some reason I remember being very unsettled by them

-the singing and dancing during the King Louie scene is great. Really this is just more Baloo praise
