Oh baby, now this is what I've been missing in my life. It took a couple episodes to fully get into it, but by the end I declared it a mix of Breaking Bad and Mad Men. That's high praise.
This show is not one I'd be likely to love because it doesn't possess the two main things I look for: a few likeable characters and a compelling plot with clear goals. Indeed, all the main characters are entirely unlikable and is great fuel for the fire of hating rich people. And yet that's the beauty of this show, much like Breaking Bad. It builds up the tension so well that you are cheering for certain things despite it all. Even though everyone is bad, others are even more bad and you can at least hope they fail.
The finale was the best episode of TV that I've seen since maybe the earlier seasons Game of Thrones. The range of emotions it gets you to experience is magic. No, this show is not for everyone, and the language you hear will start to crack your soul. But if you like any of the shows I mentioned, this is among them as one of the greats.
