*SPOILERS*

Once I heard the rumors, I was totally willing to get back to the trough for this one. This one I really have no regrets getting in line for. How can you not have a good time watching this? It really was a cool experience seeing all these characters I loved as a kid come back in for a movie today.

I however didn't really ever watch the Andrew Garfield ones, and he ended up being the best Spiderman! He was hilarious, though I imagine his original Spiderman was nothing like this? Whatever, it totally worked and I loved him.

Tobey, my actual favorite, didn't give us much here. Definitely had the least personality and it made me sad, but I will admit he's more just in the best Spidey movies rather than being the best Spidey. It was more just a reminder how different those movies were and how much I love them, and how in this movie, despite trying their hardest, the stakes just never felt as real as in Tobey's.

Anyways, this movie is a lot of fun and I'll forget all about it in a month. They did something cool, but besides providing fan service, this movie isn't actually better than the last fifteen years of Marvel movies. They try hard to manufacture emotion, but besides laughing at a few jokes, I definitely never felt anything. That's okay! We all know this is just an empty calorie helping of slop till the next one is ready!
