Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 3

⭐ 7.0/10

I dunno, this show is not really doing it for me anymore. We quickly slipped 10 seasons of The Office in between seasons and that was probably a bad idea because I appreciate this show less now. But I think a big thing is that there is nothing changing season to season. This may as well be a review for either of the other seasons I watched. That's not a bad thing, because those were good, but it's just wearing me out a bit and not doing anything new. The only new cast member this season was Pimento who is undoubtedly funny, but doesn't add all that much to the formula.

Speaking of Pimento, is Rosa the worst actress still getting roles? She's terrible in everything I've seen her in and is definitely my least favorite character here. The romance with Pimento is so forced and so not funny. The Jake/ Amy romance also does not seem authentic at all and for the central thing, doesn't feel like there is any payoff besides the two main characters have a 30 second clip every episode where they remind you they are together. Alas, not every couple can be Boyle/ Genevieve or Holt/ Kevin.

This show has lost its spark for me. It will probably come back as we watch more consistently, but yeah, watching The Office did no favors.
