Keep This to Yourself - Tom Ryan

⭐ 8.5/10

(Originally written by Magdalene)

Mac's friend died last year, killed by a serial killer who was never caught. But Mac can't forget, and when he finds a note from Connor he never knew existed, he starts digging around again and visiting the families of the other victims. As he investigates, he realizes that he might not have known Connor as well as he thought. Plus everyone seems to have secrets and keep trying to make him stop poking around.

I was very invested in this story and had no idea how it would end. I liked Mac, a shy gay kid who just wants to find out what happened to his friend, and for all his childhood best friends to stay the same. It was the perfect amount of thrilling without being gory.
