Never Have I Ever (season 2)

⭐ 8.0/10

(Originally written by Magdalene)

I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch this season, even though I enjoyed the first one, because I didn't love where it seemed to be going. Buuuuut I decided to check out the first episode, and then I finished the season in two days.

Maybe it's just the teen drama, but I find this show to be compulsively watchable. Devi is still trying to decide which boy she wants to date, she's still making terrible life decisions, and she's still struggling with grief. I was a little annoyed at how little progress she's made, but at the same time I like that it shows that grief isn't linear and mental illness isn't easily fixed.
