Artificial Condition - Martha Wells

Book number 2 in the Murderbot Diaries! To face the present, Murderbot must confront their past. They go on a journey to figure out an incident that had occurred in their stored memories.

This series is just SO good. We see Murderbot slowly open up and be a bit more vulnerable, affectionate and emotional, and it’s so endearing. Actually got really emotional at the end. They also have a friend in this one and their banter is amazing. Really, really digging this series.
