Everything is an Emergency - Jason Adam Katzenstein

⭐ 8.0/10

(Originally written by Magdalene)

A graphic memoir about the author's experience with OCD. He details how it started as a kid, to when he hit rock bottom, to how he's dealing with it now. He's a cartoonist rather than a graphic novelist, so the layouts are very different from a typical paneled comic book or graphic novel, with often only one image per page, which made this a unique read.

My experience didn't match his in a lot of ways, but it was still really nice to read about someone else's experience with OCD. It's a quick read, and people who don't have OCD would be able to much better understand what it's like in our brains.
