It took me a while to get to this one, but I'm glad I did. A Black cop in the 70s goes undercover both with the civil rights movement and the KKK with the help of a white colleague. It was a powerful movie about racism and white supremacy, but it was also quite funny and light in tone, which is rare to see in a movie about such a serious subject. So for me it hit that sweet spot of being both powerful and enjoyable to watch.
