The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue - V.E. Schwab

Mostly enjoyed this book. Addie sells her soul to the Darkness in exchange for freedom and a chance to really live, but as a result, no one remembers her the minute they are separated or they fall asleep. Add this to the fact that she's now immortal, it obviously leads to a very lonely life. It was rather heartbreaking and really makes you reflect on the value of relationships. However, she also uses her life to travel, try new experiences, learn new things, and eat amazing food. This is the part that makes me jealous. To have unlimited time to do all of these things! Beautifully written, but it felt like it dragged on a bit, especially her encounters with the Darkness. Also felt like the relationship between her and the Darkness was a bit creepy.
