The Muppet Christmas Carol
⭐ 7.5/10

Jess wanted to watch a Christmas movie, and Disney+ delivered. I watched this one constantly as a kid, so I was pretty nostalgic watching it again. I remembered all the places young me used to laugh, and still laughed quite a few times. The muppets add a bit of levity to a pretty dark tale, and the narration from Gonzo is great. The ghost of Christmas past is still terrifying though, and she/it has lots of screen time, so be warned.
I also didn't realize that Scrooge was Michael Caine until this watch, so that was cool. Does a pretty good job for a movie where he is essentially the only human. Shoutout to Bob Cratchit, a.k.a Kermit, whose weird singing voice and questionable frog/pig family actually pulled a bit of emotion out of me.
