Disclaimer: This show is cheesy to the max and I don't necessarily recommend it. 😂

That being said, I loved this show! I'm truly a sucker for any show that just follows normal life with a group of characters I grow to love. This show delivered. The show follows a newly single-mother army vet who lives with her eccentric mother. Their landlord is constantly trying to worm his way into their family and I just love all the dynamics. The cheesy part comes in when they try to tackle one huge issue an episode and it gets a little forced but I still learned stuff and truly appreciated the dialogue the family had around the topic. It also ends (so far) very non-traditionally which I can't figure out if I like. Oh, and it has some major Jane the Virgin vibes because they're again a Latin-American family living in the US with a strong matriarch. Anyway, it's a good time. 👌
