Last Christmas

⭐ 7.0/10

This movie is super cheesy at times, but you know what? I kinda liked it! Who doesn't like a story of a person trying to put their life back together? I kinda really liked Emilia Clarke's character here, or at least I found her realistic based on my experience with people in her situation. There was enough charm between the other characters to make it all a nice watch, and while the twist was a little predictable and a little lame, at least it felt unique. I also felt that it was funny enough, and was another reminder that clever British comedies almost always do more for me than whatever American comedies try to do.

Again, this score is more just adjusted on the Christmas Movie scale. It's not great, but it's good enough for this time of year.
