Vignettes - Wesley Schultz

⭐ 7.0/10

(Originally written by Joseph)

This is a solo album from the lead singer of the Lumineers where he covers what he considers the songs that most influenced him from before he became an artist. Covers include songs from guys like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and even Coldplay.

I love some songs here, like some others, but also skip a few. It's weird, because I consider this guy to maybe be my favorite musical artist, and so it's cool to see his influences, but also weird to notice that my tastes don't always align. Also, it includes only his second best cover of Bob Dylan's "Spanish Boots..." BUT I do recommend listening to "Keep Me in Your Heart" and "My City of Ruin."
