Axiom's End - Lindsay Ellis

⭐ 7.0/10

I read this because I love Lindsay as a Youtuber and I love sci-fi.

It was fine. The alien was cool. The protagonist/narrator was kind of boring, though, and I couldn't bring myself to care about her all that much. I thought the story really dragged for most of the book, though it got really intense and interesting in the last eighth of the story.

Good for Lindsay for completing the herculean task of writing and publishing a novel, but it wasn't anything outstanding. Her real talent lies in her critical analysis of media and her entertaining video essays.
