Cinderella (2015)

⭐ 7.0/10

I know this movie isn’t AMAZING, but it’s a (version of a) classic for a reason.

Lily James makes just about the loveliest Cinderella ever, and I think this movie is just so well cast! Sometimes it just feels good to watch two beautiful people dance in amazing costumes and fall in love!

It’s very much for kids (aka some real childish humour) but after a long work week this was EXACTLY what the doctor ordered for my sad Friday night in to make me smile, cry a little, and have a little faith in love to conquer all.

Plus, it’s cheesy, but “Have Courage and Be Kind” is a pretty great motto to live life by.
