Sense and Sensibility

This was our romantic film choice for our anniversary, and it was pretty good. I had my usual gripes that I have with any Victorian era movie, like the fact that it's impossible to empathize with a family that can afford only a small castle, and even worse only 2 servants! But this movie had more interesting male characters than P&P, though I think perhaps the lead character was a little more dull then Elizabeth. But overall I thought this movie was a lot funnier than the other, similar romance movies and that sets it apart by a bit.
