Portrait of a Lady on Fire

⭐ 6.5/10

This movie was pretty good. It was long and kind of boring if I’m honest, but I was fascinated by the painting itself and the way the actresses portrayed the artist’s careful observation and the poser’s angry captivity. It’s beautifully shot, like each scene still could be a painting itself. Nonetheless the romance between the two leads didn’t captivate me and I don’t think it’s a film I’d ever feel the need to see again.
