The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl - Shannon and Dean Hale

⭐ 8.0/10

(Originally written by Magdalene)

Doreen is 14 and secretly has a tail and squirrel powers. Totally silly and absurd, but so much fun. It's set in the MCU (apparently there are Marvel comics about her?), so all the superhero references and cameos were great. It's got a powerful, optimistic girl as the hero, and a deaf Latina and a bunch of squirrels as her sidekicks. Perfect for kids (and adults). My only complaint is that there's not a lot of depth, but maybe that'll come in the sequel.
