The Tattooist of Auschwitz - Heather Morris

⭐ 9.0/10

(Originally written by Jess Dyck)

The novel is narrated through Lale's strangely emotionless voice, which made recounting the horrors of his life more chilling. I read every last page, and the epilogue details of the author's interviews with Lale and the additional research she did on the story's characters was honestly my favourite part. This book was heavy, yet somehow hopeful throughout, and it will stay with me for a long time.
