Ori and the Blind Forest

⭐ 9.0/10

Burned through this game really quickly, as the constant skill upgrades make traversing the map quicker and more fun throughout. The art is beautiful, the music is beautiful. Only negatives are that there are certain level designs I found unfairly frustrating, as finer movement was difficult. Also unclear what the story is about, and the intro to that story is painfully slow.

Would have given it a higher score, but I found myself comparing it to Hollow Knight the whole time, which is a 10 for me. This is a much shorter game, with a smaller map and less interesting bosses/combat, but it was excellent nonetheless. Can't wait for more.
