This books is about a family that moves to Iraq in 2006 as missionaries. Their mission has changed over the years. From, we must convert these Muslims! To, “love first, ask questions later”. To now, where their life is ruled by the mantra “Love Anyway”.

Really, really hard book to read. Felt like fiction at times because the reality was so horrific. Made Evil seem so big and consuming. But they press on, and are pressing in and building that new Kingdom that is built on and with Love. This book made me cry a lot but gave me so much hope. One of those things that’s hard to recommend but important to know about. I learned a lot about the Middle East and the wars that have decimated the area. Learned a lot about peacemaking and loving anyway.
