A Spark of Light - Jodi Picoult

⭐ 9.5/10

The reverse chronological layout frustrated me after the initial chapter, because I felt unmotivated to read on knowing how the story ends. Yet, Picoult drew me in and continued to reveal major twists and unravel complex character stories to the very end. It was a wonderful book that handled a difficult, controversial topic with unbiased, well-studied grace. It's a book I'm already recommending to friends just because I want to talk about it!
