Little Women

⭐ 10.0/10 (Originally written by Jess) Watch this. I loved this movie, I love the simplicity of it and the story of the four sisters, and the way they show the past and present. I will watch this many more times, guaranteed.

Doctor Who (Season 7)

⭐ 9.5/10 (Originally written by Jess) Just finished this season and it was AMAZING! I just love Matt Smith as the doctor, even though David Tennant was an awesome Doctor. I am unsure about how I feel how the new doctor but I do love the current companion. I am so immersed in this world and I love it!

Mad Men

⭐ 8.5/10 (Originally written by Jess) This is an overall rating for the show. I really enjoyed watching this show, more so than Joe. Even though there wasn’t anyone to root for, because basically everyone was not a good person, but it was a good show to watch! It’s a more slow moving show, where there isn’t something huge happening each episode, but that’s what I like!

Still Life - Louise Penny

⭐ 8.5/10 (Originally written by Jess) Finally got to finish this on my break. I especially love murder mysteries, but specially not violent or ones that are dark, so this one was perfect! I was intrigued the entire book, loved all the characters, especially Inspector Gamache! I will continue to read this series!

The Mandalorian (Season 1)

⭐ 8.5/10 (Originally written by Tim) I really enjoyed watching this show, and liked the easy watching of the format, a new adventure every week. Felt like a 4 hour pilot episode, and I am excited for next season. Also the music is incredible.

Starsight - Brandon Sanderson

⭐ 6.5/10 (Originally written by Tim) The sequel to Skyward, I enjoyed the unexpected direction this one took, but still a bit too YA. In classic Sanderson style the action is vividly described and the physics of outer space dog fighting is well thought out. I couldn't put it down for the final 150 pages, but all the excitement results in an ending that feels incomplete. I understand the need to set up the final book in the trilogy, but the resolution here was flimsy without having the third book to jump into right after.

Skyward - Brandon Sanderson

⭐ 8.0/10 (Originally written by Anita) Ohhh boy this book is intense! I absolutely loved a lot of the themes and complex characters and the only reason I'm not rating it higher is because I'm just not a fan of how INTENSE the main character is. (She's a teenager.. this is young adult fiction.. I know. This is why that's not my genre.) But she grows immensely and the plot was incredibly intriguing and I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK.

The Mandalorian (Season 1)

⭐ 8.0/10 (Originally written by Joseph) I was not crazy about the format of this show's middle episodes where it seemed a little aimless and didn't progress the story. But the final episodes really redeemed it for me. Music and effects were terrific and an eaaaasy MVP to LBY.

National Treasure

⭐ 8.5/10 (Originally written by Anita) Just a fun, light-hearted action movie. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it!

National Treasure

⭐ 9.0/10 (Originally written by Will) Rewatch - apparently this movie is from 2004 if you can believe it, but it holds up really well and is still a ton of fun.
