I was intrigued the entire book, loved all the characters, especially Inspector Gamache! I will continue to read this series!

In classic Sanderson style the action is vividly described and the physics of outer space dog fighting is well thought out. I couldn't put it down for the final 150 pages, but all the excitement results in an ending that feels incomplete. I understand the need to set up the final book in the trilogy, but the resolution here was flimsy without having the third book to jump into right after.

I absolutely loved a lot of the themes and complex characters and the only reason I'm not rating it higher is because I'm just not a fan of how INTENSE the main character is. (She's a teenager.. this is young adult fiction.. I know. This is why that's not my genre.) But she grows immensely and the plot was incredibly intriguing and I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK.
